Three brothers, including two of the nation’s most successful luxury real estate brokers, were convicted of sex trafficking charges after a five-week trial over accusations that they used drugs and force to rape scores of women they had dazzled with their wealth and opulent lifestyle.
The Alexander brothers, prominent real estate brokers, were convicted in a sex trafficking case that has sent shockwaves through the real estate industry, highlighting the prevalence of sexual exploitation among high-profile figures.
Two famous brothers who worked as real estate brokers have been convicted of drugging and raping dozens of women over the course of decades. Tal Alexander, 39, and Oren Alexander, 38, rose to prominence from their sales of luxury real-estate properties in New York and Miami. Along with a third brother Alon, 38, a jury found all three guilty of sex trafficking by a jury in New York.
Two high-profile luxury real estate brokers and their other brother were convicted Monday in a sex trafficking trial in which they were accused of using drugs and their influence to sexually abuse women. Oren, Tal and Alon Alexander were found guilty in federal court in New York City on all 10 counts of engaging in a yearslong conspiracy of rape, sex trafficking, sex abuse and sexual exploitation.
