The Eurovision Song Contest is launching its first Asian edition, Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand later this year. Confirmed participating countries include Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan, with more expected to join before the final in November.
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced the launch of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia, with the grand final scheduled for November 14, 2026, in Bangkok. Ten countries have already confirmed their participation, including South Korea, Thailand, and Bhutan, with more expected to join as the contest expands.
An Asian version of the Eurovision Song Contest is set to launch in the fall of 2026, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the European edition.
