Cast announced for new series of Peaky Blinders

The seventh series of the TV show is being filmed in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham.

Netflix and the BBC have announced several new additions to the cast of the upcoming Peaky Blinders series, welcoming Conleth Hill, Daniel Monks, Samuel Bottomley, Arturo Muselli, Eugene Collins, Lucie Shorthouse, and Cal O'Driscoll to the acclaimed franchise. The production will also see the return of Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee, reprising their roles from the original series and film.

Netflix and BBC announced several new stars joining the cast of the series on Thursday (June 11). Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), Daniel Monks (All Her Fault), Samuel Bottomley (California Schemin’), Arturo Muselli (Gomorrah), Eugene Collins (The Bay), Lucie Shorthouse (We Are Lady Parts), and Cal O’Driscoll (Video Nasty) are among the new additions. Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee are also set to reprise their roles from the series and film. Mike Barker and Anna Zackrisson will direct.

Game Of Thrones star Conleth Hill will be joining the Peaky Blinders spin-off series, the BBC has announced. Set in Birmingham in the 1950s, the show will follow gangster Tommy Shelby’s family as they navigate the aftermath of the Second World War and the race to rebuild the city becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions. The series stars Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton as Duke and Charles Shelby as they find themselves in a city of unprecedented opportunity and jeopardy.
